The story begins with a drop of sunlight that fell into the earth and grew up into a golden flower over the hillside. The golden flower was believed to heal wounds and diseases. After a few centuries passed, a kingdom stood and headed by the king and the queen who really loved by the people. This time, the queen was pregnant, but she got incurable disease. The troops and the people look for the golden flower to heal the queen. In the meanwhile over the centuries an old woman named Gothel hides and takes the advantage of the golden flower. She sings a spell so its flower will shine and Gothel's face becomes rejuvenated.

She is an alcoholic and kleptomania. Mary's father, Noel Norman Dinkle, worked in a factory mounting straps for the tea bags. Noel would rather spend his time in the factory by drinking a bottle of Baileys Irish Cream with his ornament bird collection.

Angier accuses Borden was negligent, causing the death of Julia.

He invites Tracy (Juliet Rylance) and their children, Trevor (Michael Hall D'Addario) and Ashley (Clare Foley) to stay at the house where the murder happened. But, Oswalt did not tell anything about history of the house to his family.
