Jobs (2013) on IMDb
I recommend to you watch this movie. If you are feeling hopeless because of failed in a business, JOBS can give a motivation. Jobs' struggle will remaind us that hardworking will give a result someday. JOBS told about a biography story of personal computer pioneer and founder of Apple Computer, Inc, Steve Jobs (Ashton Kutcher). Altough he died caused of pancreatic cancer on October 5th, 2011, but his big name always be remembered forever. His ideas and innovation made Apple being the most valuable company in the world in 2011.

We probably would never have tought that a success man like Jobs had dropped out from Red College, Portland Oregon. In a fact, his parent had spent a lot of money for that. So, I conclude that a success is not fully determined by formal education, but a hardworking and innovative too. After drop out, Jobs studied calligraphy in India with Daniel Kottke (Lukas Haas) for a few months.

In 1974, Jobs returned to America and worked in video game company, ATARI. Jobs was a perfectionist and stubborn. He had a trouble to cooperate with others. He asked for a personal game project to his boss. Jobs asked to Steve Wozniak (Josh Gad) to help him work on the project and share profit together. When Jobs was at Wozniak home, he saw a board equipped with a keyboard and series of electronic componenets. When the board connected to television, some commands will appear on screen. The next commands could be input through keyboard. At that time, the shape is very simple. Jobs gave it name, Apple, a simple "fruit" thought or maybe because he was a fruitarian, so he chose name of fruit. They offered Apple to some companies.

Scott, the owner of computer store was interested to Apple and made an order some units to Jobs. Jobs and Wozniak took Bill Fernandez (Victor Rasuk), Daniel and Chris Espinosa (Eddie Hassell) to help them made Apple. They worked in garage of Jobs. Jobs then designed Apple 2 with some development from Apple. Jobs invited Rod Holt (Ron Eldard) and asked him to make a new design and added a power supply to Apple board box.

In 1976, Jobs and Wozniak founded Apple Computer. They made cooperation with Mike Markkula (Dermot Mulroney), an Intel retired, who was interested to invest in Apple Computer. In 1977, in West Coast Computer Faire event, Jobs introduced a personal computer, Apple 2, to public for the first time. From that moment, Apple Computer was growing advanced.

But, not every people in Apple Computer have same thought, purpose, vision and mission like Jobs, especially board of directors. Most of them assumed that Jobs was stiff and stubborn on his principle. They started oppose Jobs and felt that Jobs could endanger Apple Computer position. Because of these, Apple Computer had to go through hard times, especially Jobs. Jobs realized that he had taken a wrong decision, which caused he lost of his property.

In my opinion, JOBS is a one pretty good biography film. For those of you, who had never known about Jobs before, or like me, who know Jobs as Apple Computer founder, this film is more than enough to get to know the figure of Jobs. This film not only told about the career of Jobs, but also a bit of personality and his personal life. Some fatcs also clearly expressed, without any cover-up, included Apple's rivalry with IBM and Microsoft. A positive and negative side of Jobs is shown quite clearly. He is smart, hardworking, discipline, innovativ and perfectionist. He is a professional too. He always can to distinguish between friendship and business. Altough told about a biography story of someone who is very close with the world of technology, but you will not feel bored and sleepy when watching this movie. The story goes very light, there was no complicated computer terminology. So even though you are stutters computers technology, you can still easily follow the story line. In fact there are some stories that makes us like watching a drama, not a biography. Especially when Jobs friends lost figure of Jobs who they have knew so far. They did emotional dialog and was very touching.

This is my first time watched Ashton Kutcher action and I think his acting is good. A man who was the ex-lover of Demi Moore had chose a fruitarian diet in order to explore its role as Jobs, but unfortunately Kutcher should get a treatment caused of pancreatic disorder. His hair style and his whiskers made similar to Jobs. Kutcher also imitated Jobs walking and diction style. I hope that Kutcher total effort is not in vain. Hopefully he will win an Oscar in 2014 for his role as Jobs. And Kutcher looked very handsome in this movie. I love his nose \^.^/

Two things I can learn from Steve Jobs are:
  • Work hard, do not imitate but innovative if you want to be ahead of competitors.
  • Always put customer (users) satisfaction as a priority. Simplicity, convenience and their benefits are number one in every product sales.
